2014 Snapshots

starting my count towards 1000 (and beyond!)

I managed to cross off a few things on that to do list I was talking about.  with a 2 year old I’ve learnt not to force my daily schedule but to work around his. in a way JJ makes me slow down, breathe and sit with him to watch, The Wonder pets or the Backyardiagans!  There are some interesting lessons in those programs!!

Okay so here goes, the beginning of my journey to count towards 1000 gifts……………and beyond!  Gifts from God that in my haste to get things done, they go un noticed.

# 1 – #20

  1. Sunday morning worship
  2. that word for my soul
  3. beautiful daughters
  4. a son who enjoys going to the church nursery
  5. the sweet smell of jasmine flowers
  6. water baptism – the joy in my heart witnessing my friend and her husband make their stand for their faith
  7. red chilies
  8. Thai food
  9. first day back to school after Spring Break
  10. sunrises – and how they rise with a promise of a beautiful day
  11. tired children sleeping soundly in their beds
  12. sandy beaches
  13. a full moon
  14. moonlight on my bed
  15. a celebrated birthday, another year of life
  16. birthday presents
  17. donating old clothes and stuff to others who may need it more and at the same time clearing clutter.
  18. medical reports that say that all is well with my kids and husband
  19. confirmed flights for my mum and siblings.  they’ll be here soon and I cant wait!
  20. sharing life with friends over coffee

Happy Monday!

Yay! I'm so glad you're counting too! It's made a huge impact on my outlook :)

I have some free Easter / "He Is Risen" blog buttons if you would like one to display on your blog! They are on my blog and free to anyone who would like one. :-)

If I sat and thought and counted, I don't think 1000 would be enough. I admire you for making a list!
