Don’t you think life is a series of improvisations?(drinking bottle thrown into the lake!!)
No matter how much I try (and i do) nothing ever works out as I’ve planned. Could it be because I have young kids and they have minds of their own? Anyway I find myself often having to change things in the last minute, improvise and go with the flow or just wing it!!
Sometimes it works and well other times I promise myself to plan better or is it…improvise better!!
For more improvising head on over to Theresa’s.

I am a planner, but your right no matter how much I plan, life sometimes has a mind of its own. xo
you are so right ...
I often think that is why I had children. To learn to let go...
I think you are right ... and with small children it important to be able to improvise :)
Children forcing to improvise all day long, but they are themselves the best improvisers when inventing new toys and games!
That happens to me too. I think Joyce is right.
Yes I think so. And for me writing this post made me realize that the best things that have happened to me -- meeting great friends, my husband, giving birth, the best paintings, even the plant that grows best in my garden, all came from something outside of me. I was just a player in the story...
I am a planner. A crazy planner ! ha ha. But ... I'm also an improviser, because like you say, life doesn't always go as planned ....
I think to improvise in life, you follow more your dreams....
it doesn't mater !!! It's a better way to live !
winging it is fun, if the need be!
i'm right there with you. i don't mind it so much though. any time i start to plan something, it immediately seems to get undone, so i have learned to make a minimal plan and leave the rest to seeing what happens. with young kids, it seems the only way to function.
Yes! Little by little, more and more, I give up on planning, and enjoy the improvised way:))
xo
I think to go with the flow is a beautiful idea. And look, your photo shows that ;)
Have a nice day.
i know what you mean about things not always working out as you had planned. With kids this so often happens doesn't it. Still, it keeps us on our toes!
