We don’t use our front door very much, only when we have visitors.
If you were to come for the first time to my house I’d probably bring you through the front door, but if you came again I’d have you come around the side/kitchen entrance because well you came back and so why not come in through my kitchen where everything happens.
Anyway here is the view of my front door
from the left
and from the right.

Every house where love abides
And friendship is a guest,
Is surely home, and home, sweet home
For there the heart can rest.

Huge doors - how lovey. And I spy a pool round the corner. Your home sounds lovely, and it would be good to see in your kitchen door sometime where all the action is. Have a good day.
next time I'm over. thanks :)
that's a very big door!
WOW- these are beautiful and big doors!! I love them. How can your guests not feel welcome walking through doors fit for a king or queen. xo
I'm also quite impressed with the size of your wooden door. Quite spectacular!
Your door is gorgeous! I love wooden doors and yours are so big!
Very cool Kari! It just makes me envious of your home and that fact that you live in Thailand and I don't!
Stunning! I wouldn't mind coming home to these doors.
That is a huge, beautiful door, Kari. It looks like photos right out of a magazine. And I like how the shoes are left outside. I wish that was a custom in the States.
What a beautiful wooden door, Kari:)
Kari. Lovely post. Beautiful poem too. Great choice. I've been over at your other site too. Amazing flower shots. So colorful. Happy Spring to you this weekend. Jodi
