Rain, Rain, Rain.  And we are getting lots of it.

Lessons learned the past few days:

I love to read and so often I pick up books that I really enjoy reading about God through other people’s lives and experiences and what they have learnt about God, or what God did in their lives. It’s great and it’s wonderful to learn from others but I’m realizing that I cannot experience God fully through someone else’s experiences. I need to seek God for myself and experience Him the way He wants me too. And this can only really be done by reading the Bible – myself. Getting lost in it and asking God to show me what he means. I need to get back the the basics of spending time reading the bible.

On My Prayer List:

Brenda in Paraguay.  She starts chemo this week.

Dad & Mum

My children and Husband.

Devotionals, Scripture Reading, Key Verse:

Psalm 119. It’s a long Psalm but it is so worth going over every verse.

I LOVE your lesson learned, so true. I also enjoy reading those kinds of books but as much as I am happy and thrilled for their experiences, I won't get the full meaning of it unless I'm experiencing for myself.

Your lesson learned is one that I have been dealing with as well! My need to be in God's Word daily...it is food for my soul! Can't live without it!

I completely agree with your lesson learned! There is nothing that can replace reading God's Word!

Your children are absolutely beautiful by the way!
