** (edited – stitched my photos so I’m putting one photo – not 3)
What day of the week where you born? Monday, Tuesday or maybe Friday?
Today’s CV theme is the number 7. I’m not being very creative here. I’m doing the days of the week but of course in relation to my corner.
I found this very interesting. Now I understand why there are so many different statues and poses and that each one has a meaning to it.
If you ever visit a Thai temple you might see different Buddha images lined up in a row. Each pose apparently shows what Buddha was doing on that particular day of the week.
I was born on a Friday and so the Buddha image for Friday is with the hands crossed over the chest and is in deep thought. Apparently the gesture represents a complete spiritual transformation.
If you are curious to see what pose is represented for you then click here.
I took these photos on our trip to Chiang Mai back in 2008.
For more on this theme head on over to Theresa’s who’s stepping in for Jane.

That is so interesting. I think I was born on a Saturday, so I'm going to take a look at what Buddha position I might be.
I always seem to learn something from you :)
I actually don't know what day of the week I was born, and I think it would take me a long time to figure it out:)

Interesting! I was born on a Thursday, so I'll have to go check this out.
Gorgeous, and fascinating.
I'll see if I can check what day of the week it was when I was born:))
Your blog feels as if it had a spiritual transformation as well. It's always peaceful, and today is particulary so.
