I’m sure we’ve all been there. We turn up with our ideas, interests and put our lives out there and faithfully blog hoping that someone will be remotely interested in our lives and leave a comment.
Well if there’s anything that Corner View has done for me, apart from allow me to travel the world, meet some wonderful, inspiring and not to mention some seriously talented people, it’s also brought people to my blog.
I love doing corner view. I love that I can share each week’s theme with my husband and he gives me ideas. I love that my daughter reads some of the CV blogs and it arouses her curiosity and she tries to place each corner viewer on her world map. I’ve also enjoyed the different interpretations of each theme from around the world. It’s so awesome!!
I’ve not always been faithful and viewed everyone’s CV and I wish I had the time but there is that little thing called “life”, which requires balance. But I’m so very grateful and thankful to those of you who have come each week to my corner.
This past year of CV has been a blast and I look forward to another one. Thanks Jane for such a great concept, and having us tell our story!
I don’t have a favorite CV because there are so many, but as I’ve looked back on all my CV posts I’d have to say that I’ve been a fine ambassador for Thailand. (some people actually think I’m from here) Thailand is such a beautiful country and I’m blessed to be here………….. for now.
Anyway so for this weeks CV I’m following Jane and Pien’s lead and I’m having a giveaway too to celebrate 1 year of Corner View!!
I have 3 items to giveaway. A Bencharong, some elephants and a silk scarf. I love to collect souvenirs so I have a few to giveaway. Please remember that these are all handmade items (not by me – I wish though) so they won’t be exactly like the ones in the pictures.
It’s easy to enter - all you have to do is leave a comment and let us know where in the world you are and how long you’ve been blogging!!
I’m excited about this giveaway. I’ve never done anything like this before but I guess there is a first for everything!!
Entries are open till Tuesday 20th April 12pm, Bangkok time. I’m aware of time and day differences so make sure to come around on time. Hopefully by then I would have figured out the random # integrator, otherwise it will be done the old fashioned way – every name/commenter gets put in a hat.
Make sure to let your friends know!! Oh and another thing, this is open to everyone who comments – not only the CV participants, I know you won’t mind!!
Thanks again Jane for Corner View! And thank you too to all of you who participate. It’s makes for a colorful world travel. And I look forward to another year of seeing, learning and bonding.

You have been a fine ambassador for Thailand, and I've learned many interesting and also many different things (like the coffee in a bag!) about that country. I've also learned something about you and your sweet family. Thank you Kari!
And what a super giveaway! I've been blogging for just over a year from the middle of nowhere, Italy:)

p.s. is it cheeky to point out that, should I win (wishful thinking), I'd love the scarf (I have no furniture as of yet to put trinkets on plus, having been in thailand, I just know I ADORE the scarves.) tra la la.
