I Love Reading…

But there is so much more joy in reading to little children and it is something that I love to do.  To see their sweet, little eager faces is just priceless.

And so that’s why I volunteered to be a “Mystery Reader” for my daughter’s Kindergarten class.  I signed up two weeks ago and tomorrow is the day.

There were so many books to choose from but seeing that it is October and of course this is the month for “Halloween” I’ve chosen  a book about a pumpkin.  Actually it’s a book about a square pumpkin.

I found this book by accident and I’ve read it to my own children and we enjoy it very much.  We also really liked the lesson from the book.

Well I’m off to read the book to myself again so I don’t disappoint the kids tomorrow!!

IMGP5578 I thought I’d throw in this picture because I do miss the experience of seeing endless fields of pumpkins of many different sizes when we were back in the US.

Anyway this is Tanysha (I read to her class tomorrow and she has no idea that I'’m the mystery reader).

It should be fun.

My one pumpkin this year looked quite rectangular ... bumpy and rectangular, to be precise! Have fun as a mystery reader!
