But I saw this over at Mari’s who got it from her friend and I thought I’d join in – for the fun of it of course,  and just in case you wanted to know a little  about me but didn’t know how to ask !   (just kidding of course – why would you want to know more about me).

Anyway……..

The phone rings. Who will it be?
If it's during the day then it’s probably my husband.  If it’s in the afternoon then it’s probably Renee telling me she’s on her way home.

When shopping at the grocery store, do you return your cart?
I wish I could say yes proudly but I don’t- not all the time anyway.  I do  sometimes.

In a social setting, are you more of a talker or a listener?
I think I'm more of a talker.  But it does depend on the social setting.

Do you take compliments well?
I’m learning to.  I have to remember  to smile and just say thank you, whether I agree with the compliment or not. 

Do you play Sudoku?
No.  Don’t you have to be smart to play that?!

If abandoned alone in the wilderness, would you survive?
Yes, I think I could.  I know how to make fire, I think that’s important.

Did you ever go to camp as a kid?
Yes I did.  I did it in 5th grade, and then 7th grade . It was fun both times.

What was your favorite game as a kid?
I liked all games and would play every game.  Gee I even made up my own games.  But if I’m picking a favorite then I’d have to say stuck in the mud.

Could you date someone with different religious beliefs than you?
I use to date someone with different religious beliefs.  Let me just say it got complicated at times and I don’t think we could really be ourselves or express ourselves. 

Do you like to pursue or be pursued?  It depends.

Use three words to describe yourself?
sociable, considerate, spontaneous.

Do any songs make you cry?
Yes.  Especially Christian worship songs.

Are you continuing your education?
I am but not in the field that I graduated in.  I did Accounting but now I’m studying Early childhood Learning.

Have you ever taken pictures in a photo booth?
Yes – back when I was in boarding school.

 How often do you read books?
Not as  often these days.  But when I do find a good book I can’t put it down till I’m done.

Do you think more about the past, present or future?
I think more about the present and the future. I try not to go back to the past.

What is your favorite children’s book?
Chrysanthemum, by Kevin Henkes. I remind my kids that it’s okay to be different.

What color are your eyes?

Brown

Where is your dream house located?
Near the beach or over the water.

 If your house was on fire, what would be the first thing you grabbed? 
my kids.

When was the last time you were at Olive Garden? 
About 3 years ago.

Where was the furthest place you traveled today?
To school which was less then 5 minutes away.  But I have to go downtown so it will be an hour or so.

Do you like mustard?
yes I do.

Do you look like your mom or dad?
I would have to say I look like my mother.

How long does it take you in the shower? 
not long.

Can you do the splits?
Nope, can’t do it.  I can do a cartwheel though.

What movie do you want to see right now?
Slumdog Millionaire – again.  It was a great movie.  I only saw it 2 weeks ago.

What did you do for New Year’s?
My parents were here with us this year.  I can’t remember where we went to but we had a good time.

Do you think The Grudge was scary?
I don’t know what “The Grudge” is.

Do you own a camera phone?
Yes I do and it comes in handy.

What’s the last letter of your middle name?
The last letter in my middle name is “y”.  My middle name is Kathy.

How many hours of sleep do you get a night?
About 8 hours.

What do you buy at the movies? 
popcorn and drinks.  For my kids, that’s all part of the fun isn’t it.

Do you know how to play poker? 
I don’t know how to play poker.

 Do you wear your seat belt?
Yes I do.

How many meals do you eat a day?
6 meals.  But they are small meals.  It’s all about portion control now.

Do you like funny or serious people better?
I would have to say funny people.

Ever been to L.A.?
Yes and I really liked it.

Did you eat a cookie today?
No

Do you hate chocolate?
Are you kidding.  I love chocolate.  And maybe a  little too much though.

Are you a gullible person?
Yes.  Unfortunately I am.

Are you easy to get along with?
I think I’m an easy person to get along with.
