#6 – Happy Homemaker Monday.

HHM-new one

So it’s Monday and so here is my HHM.  I know my Monday has come to an end but I know others are just waking and starting their day.

For more Happy Homemaker Monday’s check out our host’s blog.  Thanks Sandra for hosting HHM.

The weather in my neck of the woods:  It has been a stinking hot day.  It felt like a sauna and it’s no wonder because now it’s raining.

One of my simple pleasures: Rain in the evenings.  I love the sound of the rain.

On my bedside table: Beth Moore’s Bible Study  - Living Beyond Yourself.   It’s a great study.

On my TV: TV is off.

On the menu for tonight:   Pork with sautéed apples.

On my done List:

  • RSVP’d to Welcome Wai
  • take Tanysha to swim lesson
  • make afternoon snack for Renee.
  • helped to clean the house.

New Recipe I tried last week:  Spaghetti with sauteed chicken and grape tomatoes.  It was yummy and even my husband enjoyed it and he doesn’t like pasta much.

In the craft basket:  No crafting yet.

Looking forward to:  coffee with a friend or two. We have to agree on a day for this week.

Homemaking Tip for this week: no tip.

Favorite Blog Post of the week (mine or other):   All the Corner View bloggers.  Our Theme was September and it was great to September around the world.

Favorite photos from last week:

Lesson learned the past few days:   a good nights rest/sleep will keep you from being cranky and stressed.

On my Prayer List:

  • family and friends.
  • And also my bible study group and the study we are doing.

Devotionals, Scripture Reading, Key Verses:

Psalm 139 (The Message)

A David Psalm

1-6 God, investigate my life; get all the facts firsthand.
   I'm an open book to you;
      even from a distance, you know what I'm thinking.
   You know when I leave and when I get back;
      I'm never out of your sight.
   You know everything I'm going to say
      before I start the first sentence.
   I look behind me and you're there,
      then up ahead and you're there, too—
      your reassuring presence, coming and going.
   This is too much, too wonderful—
      I can't take it all in!

Happy Week!
