# 5 - Happy Homemaker Monday

HHM-new one

It’s the start of a new week. and I’m ready to go.  I really am.

For more happy Homemaker visit Sandra at Diary of a Stay At Home Mom.

The weather in my neck of the woods:

29°C | °Fchance_of_storm

Current: Mostly Cloudy
Wind: NW at 8 km/h
Humidity: 70%

One of my simple pleasures:   A cool breeze.

On my bedside table:   Beth Moore’s Bible Study  - Living Beyond Yourself.  I am really enjoying this study.

On my TV:  Nothing TV is off.

On the menu for tonight:   Asian Grilled Chicken.

On my To Do List:

*  Renew gym membership

*  Go to the furniture fair

*  Do Bible Study homework

New Recipe I tried last week:  Baked Chicken with Dijon and Lime.  It was delicious.

In the craft basket:  No crafting yet.  But I am collecting some material to start a project though.  Will let you know soon.

Looking forward to:

a short week.  Yep the girls have Thursday and Friday off.  And  hubby has Friday off.

Homemaking Tip for this week:

Favorite Blog Post of the week (mine or other):   I joined another Blog carnival “photo hunters”.  I love seeing what other’s are blogging about and what pictures they’re taking.

Favorite photos from last week:

DSC08007this tree wrapped with cloth is common here in Thailand.  I’ll have a post about this sometime later.

Lesson learned the past few days:   That it is okay to check out my children’s friends.  And to make my home a haven where their friends are welcome so it helps me to get to know them.

On my Prayer List:

*  Family and friends.

*  My fellowship group.

Devotionals, Scripture Reading, Key Verses:

Whoever trusts in the Lord shall be safe.

Proverbs 29:25

I hope you all have a great week.

Okay, so I found your blog by searching google for "golf cart nichada" so I could find pictures of golf carts for my blog! I live here too and was cracking up at how similar our lives are...and then I read that you are part of EW as well! We'll have to meet sometime (I hope I'm not freaking you out...but you can check out my blog, as well)! Yay for moms who love Jesus, their kids and husbands! Thanks for your great blog - it's fun to read another perspective on Bangkok and the area!

I love that you accept your childrens friends into the house. I think if you create a loving and open environment where friends are welcome you will have a better idea of what is going on in your childrens lives and who they are spending time with. YEY.
