2014 Snapshots

Thursday, August 20

It seems like a million and one things….

It’s been non stop crazy lately , getting through things, signing the kids up for after school activities, attending back to school meetings and on top of all that making sure that everything  is ready for our move next week.

Wow I can’t believe  that after nearly 9 whole months since I saw this house that we’ll  finally  be moving in  next week.

I still have a few more things to sort through at home,  papers/documents to be signed and paid for the move,  but it’s all good because I’m so ready to move on from my current house.

I’m really looking forward to this move because for me it’s an opportunity to start again.  To change something’s not only in my life but my family.

I’ve always looked at our moves as a family as opportunities to start a new and embrace change graciously.  Whether the move is  just down the street or across to the other side of the world we like to look at them as opportunities for a fresh start, for new beginnings.

And I love that.

I feel just the same about moving: a fresh start for everyone. As I haven't moved in several years, I make do by rearranging furniture and painting walls occasionally, but it's not the same:(. Good luck!

I love to move, too. But please don't tell The Professor--he'll panic! Will you show photos once you're settled?
