I hope you all had a great weekend. We sure did. It was busy one for us with a birthday party and dance recitals but it was all fun, fun and more fun.
So it is Monday and it’s time for Happy Homemaker. If you want to take part head on over to Sandra’s at SAHM. Thanks Sandra for hosting.

The Other Boylen Girl. This is my second time to watch. I didn’t think I would like the movie when I first saw it but I did like it.

I have someone cook for me every Monday. So I don’t really know what’s on the menu. All I know is that it will be Thai.
On My To Do list:
Organize class party for Renee’s class
Get passport photo’s for Tanysha (I got some last week but they need a specific size - uggh)

Call moving company and make booking. We are moving in a couple of weeks. We’re excited.
New Recipe I Tried Last Week:
Nothing
In the craft Basket:
Nothing. This is a busy time for me with the end of the school year looming. (2 more weeks!!)
Looking Forward to:
Sister in law arriving tomorrow
End of the school year.
Vacation/summer leave in a couple of weeks.
NBA Finals.
Homemaking Tip for this week:
Sorry no tip……. again. This seems to be a regular occurrence!!
Favorite Blog post of the Week: (mine of other):
Last week was kind off crazy so didn’t get to visit many blogs.
Favorite photo from last week:
Lessons learned the past few days:
Not to stress over children’s birthday parties. All the kids really want is their friends to be there and to just have fun, not to see how you’ve decorated!!
On My Prayer List:
Family – both sides.
Devotionals, Scripture Reading, Key Verse:
Trust God from the bottom of your heart;
don't try to figure out everything on your own.
Listen for God's voice in everything you do, everywhere you go;
he's the one who will keep you on track.
Don't assume that you know it all.
Proverbs 3:5 (The Message)

have a great week kari. THOSE cupcakes look SOOO good!
Yummy looking cupcakes!
I ansolutely agree - I stressed for days over a birthday party for my daughter one year and spent hours cutting sandwiches and fruit into fancy shapes - did they care? No, not at all.
The cupcakes look delicious and so very colorful!
Are you moving to a new house, new town or farther afield? We spent four years living in the Western Pacific, on the island of Saipan. Is that anywhere near where you are from?
Have a wonderful week and a smooth move.
That should be, I aBsolutely agree! Sometimes my fingers are just too fast for the keyboard!
I should have waited until I'd finished reading through your blog to ask my questions! I see you're moving to a new house (and it looks beautiful) and that you are from Papua New Guinea.
I have really enjoyed reading your blog and will be back again to visit soon.
Love your lesson! Every year I have to remind myself about that. Sometimes I am successful, sometimes not so much...
Great lesson learned :)
And look at those yummy cupcakes!
