Today is Friday and it's the last day of holidays for both my girls. It's been great to have them both at home although we haven't done too much together. As you can see on my side counter I now have about 49 more days to go till my baby arrives. And I have now developed the "pregnancy waddle" - not very flattering!!!

My hubby was also home for a long 5 day weekend. Last weekend and half of this week we have celebrated Songkran here in Thailand - Thailand's New Year, their turning of the calender. It was fun to watch the Thai's celebrate and also to learn of their customs/rituals etc.
Last Saturday I hosted a Songran Pool Party here at my house for my Thai friends and their families. I was a little nervous because I don't usually host anything but all went well.

Oh I also celebrated my birthday on Wednesday. My children made me beautiful gifts and my dear hubby bought me a new camera. I love it and I will be using it a lot for pictures for this blog.

Baby Update !!

I am now 30 weeks pregnant and all of a sudden my once little bump is not so little anymore. It has so grown and is now very noticeable.

The nights are becoming more difficult and uncomfortable not only because of the heat here in Thailand but also because right now I am experiencing Braxton-Hicks contractions. They say some women don't feel them - well trust me I am feeling every single one of these contractions. My tummy becomes so tight and then after a couple of seconds it relaxes. My baby isn't as active anymore but when he needs to move he moves alright!!

My weight gain for this pregnancy has been a lot compared to my first two, and I know that it's contributing to my discomfort. Not only physically but also mentally and emotionally. I'm trying to be positive about it and look at it as only temporary but it's difficult. Really pregnancy is only a season/journey and my 9 months is coming to a close. I have about 9 more weeks after this week and so my countdown has begun.

Agghh .......... did I say 9 more weeks to go .......... Yikes I need to get organized!! I haven't yet made a list of what I need to buy and more importantly prepare a birth plan. Oh my I have to get going before I really don't feel like doing anything!!

Bus Debut !

Today was a big day for Tanysha ......... she came home on the school bus. Now she's been asking for quite sometime now to come home in the afternoons on the bus and today I finally said yes. Reluctantly of course, but I said yes. She was so excited and thrilled that she got to come home on the bus with her friends and not with mummy. It was exciting for her.

I didn't enjoy it as much as she did. I realise more and more that she is growing up - and too quickly. I am thankful for it though because I have another one on the way but it makes me realise to enjoy the now - the moments, because they will soon just be memories.
