Happy Friday All. It’s time again to look back on the week for those little gems.

Here are mine:
1. First up, reading to little ones. It was fun today to read to my daughter’s class. And to see the look on Tanysha’s face when she saw me walk in was just priceless. She was so excited and just a little proud. The kids were great too. I think they enjoyed the story.

2. Iced Green Tea Latte. Especially after not having one for a while. It kind of makes you appreciate it more.
3. This Quote or words rather. Yes I have another one. I’ve been reading a lot lately and I found this one in the book titled : Character Matter’s.
The words are from this man – Abraham Lincoln.
A child is a person who is going to carry on what you have started. He is going to sit where you are sitting and, when you are gone, attend to those things which you think are important. You may adopt all the policies you please, but how they are carried out depends on him. He will assume control of your cities, states, and nations. He is going to move in and take over your churches, schools, universities, corporations. The fate of humanity is in his hands.
4. Inside plants. They really do a lot for simple decor.
5. The School Library. Actually the kids at school call it the Learning Hub. I enjoy going their. I like to borrow books and Tanysha and Renee love it too.

Beautiful plant!! I have read to my older daughter's class before and love it! One of my favorite things to do is volunteer in my girls' classrooms.
Hi...just stopped in from Friday Faves. Your header is beautiful...where are you originally from? We've just returned to the states after 6 years in the UK-we loved it. We're enjoying our new home but repatriating is most definitely a process!

Kari, I LOVED those all-shapes pumpkins :-) So much creativity.
Those pumpkins are so cute. Very creative. The child's imagine does not limit a pumpkin to a traditional pumpkin shape!!
I love indoor plants. :) My roommate and I have a few in our small dorm room.

The Learning Hub -- I love it!
I love the picture of the houseplant, too. I try to grow them but end up killing them. I've only managed to keep one alive - a philodendron given to me when my father died 19 years ago.

I love to read and nothing is neater than passing on a love of reading and books to little ones. How nice that you got to share that with your daughter's class.
