so we’ve been in Atyrau, kazakhstan for 2 weeks now and it’s time to move on…….blogs. This afternoon someone asked me if I was homesick already, homesick for Thailand? to be completely honest, no. Well actually what I’m missing right now are the Friday night massages that my hubby and I use to go to. Otherwise I think we’ve moved on quite nicely.
And so now to just completely move it’s time to shut down this blog and move on. Time to embrace our new adventure, our new life. So to farewell Thailand and Sea, Sand and Shells here are my photo’s from our last year in Thailand.
2011.
many of the photos are from the Ancient City.
It was only after our trip there did I realize that I have still so much more to see and do in Thailand. Even my four years there were not enough. Someday maybe I’ll go back.
Thanks so much for keeping company here at Sea, Sand and Shells. I do hope you’ll come and visit me at my new blog and Come into our Yurta!

I'll be right over!
I suppose sea, sand, and shells doesn't exactly describe Kazakhstan! The Ancient City reminds me of Angkor Wat - Cambodia's ancient city! Love the picture of Joshua on the zipline!
oh my sweet kari. how grateful you sound, and how promising you make thailand sound too, not that i've got plans. such a nice way to close down something lived and start a new adventure.
like i said, i'll be over...
ps - you're seriously gonna live in a yurta?
