Party Day !!!
My husband is great and he keeps on reminding me that it is a party for Tanysha and her friends and not necessarily their parents. But as a women that's hard to remember sometimes.
Well got to go - have to finish of the cupcakes and load up the goody bags. Actually before I go just want to share an observation that I've made while here in Thailand and after attending a couple of B'day parties here that Renee and Tanysha have been invited too.
I've noticed that the Thai children here are not so big on candy. What I'm use to putting in goody bags is not what we've received in the goody bags that my kids have brought home after they've been to parties. Again the Thai children are just not into candy. So I'm stressing out a bit here with my goody bags.
Anyway got to go - have to feed Joshua, put icing on the cupcakes and check on the food order for the party oh and I've got to make sure that everything will fit into the car.
I will share photo's later from the party!!

Girls First Meeting with Joshua.
I must say I was a bit anxious as to how my Renee and Tanysha would react with the arrival of their little brother and I must admit that it was all for nothing. They love their little brother and have been excited since his arrival. Tanysha is my little reporter and announcer. She will announce to anyone and everyone very proudly that "my mummy has had our baby" - the doctor's finally pulled him out of her tummy...... "
I remember announcing to them nearly 8 months ago that they were going to have a brother. They were disappointed - they wanted a girl. But they are very happy now and they don't even remember telling me that they wanted another girl in our family.
Here are some photo's of their first meeting ...................
Renee; "can't believe I'm carrying him".
Tanysha; "Look I think he's smiling at me!"
I can honestly say that when I see my girls admire and love their brother it brings tears to my eyes. And that "labor" of love is so worth it..... Can't even recall the pain of those how many hours I was in labor!!!!

After 2 weeks
Looking back 2 weeks ago I cannot believe how calm I was even when the contractions started to get stronger and shorter. And in Bangkok traffic is just crazy and that is what I was most worried about - getting caught inthe traffic, but thankfully that did not happen.
This delivery was probably the easiest (are they ever really easy??!!). Well let me rephrase that - this delivery was better because it wasn't as stressful or exhausting as they were for my girls. And thank God for Epidurals - they are great!!
The medical staff were great and my stay in the hospital was even better. Crazy thing is the hospital was more like a hotel. The food was great and what's even more crazy is that I could order Starbucks from my room. Now that was just crazy!!!
My baby was well and healthy but he remained in the nursery while I rested. They would only bring him in to be breastfed. It was great.
It was also great to be back at home after spending 3 nights in the hospital.
All in all things went well.
